From Malout Road, Bathinda, since 1981
Jaybee Industries began in 1981 at 5 KM Stone, Malout Road, Bathinda. The company describes that site, now Unit I and its headquarters, as the oldest transformer manufacturing concern in Northern India. More than four decades later it is still where the business is run from.
Growth from a Punjab base
From Bathinda the company added two units at Kirpalpur near Nalagarh in Himachal and a fourth at Ambala in Haryana. Together they give a stated capacity above 3000 MVA a year, and the customer count has passed 800.

The Punjab Industries Department has graded Jaybee a "Best Grade Qualified Enterprise". Nationally, the Bureau of Energy Efficiency gave it the National Energy Conservation Award in 2021.
